Aajonus Vonderplanitz

Aajonus Vonderplanitz (born John Richard Swigart) was an American alternative nutritionist, food-rights activist, and author who advocated for the consumption of raw meats and dairy through his Primal Diet. He founded the nonprofit Right to Choose Healthy Foods and fought legal battles, including ending Los Angeles County's ban on raw milk sales and pioneering 'animal leasing' workarounds for raw dairy access. Vonderplanitz authored books like 'We Want to Live' and 'The Recipe for Living Without Disease' before his controversial death in Thailand in 2013.
