A. F Pollard

Albert Frederick Pollard (1869-1948) was an English historian and the leading Tudor scholar of the early 20th century. He was instrumental in establishing the London History School, founding the Institute of Historical Research, and helping create the Historical Association. His prolific works on parliament, Tudor history, and constitutional history made him one of the most significant figures in the development of the historical profession.
