GIFTS To GOD: Worship & Echoes of Pure Love

I gave a birthday gift to a close friend one time and the response confirmed that my friend loved it. Over the phone, there was excitement and pleasure in the voice, and though not expressed, I got the impression that the gift spoke something to my friend. This is what is what happens with God and true worship. We are a lot like him, you know. It's a very special gift, the only one he expects from his children, in that it shows how much you know of him because you have invested time and attention to the discovery, and have seen him in your life or world, as he really is, hence this gift. Having reached that mountain top, I write from there about gifts to God that produce a response - echoes of who he is, something he does not hesitate to lavish on anyone when your gifts are spot on.
