Tris

Tris is a book about the adventures of an African American young man growing up in a suburb of Chicago with his dog Diamond in a single parent household. Tris book series follows the development of Tris from kindergarten to adolescence. The goal of this book series is to encourage young African American boys to read more which, will help to build their vocabulary skills by learning some of the core words of each grade level.
