Around the Table: Family Favorites

Many family memories are connected with gathering around the table for a family meal. It is there, together at the kids table or the adult table, stories and laughter are shared experiences. We compiled over 30 recipes of our family favorites over the years. These dishes made their way to our individual family dinners and to the larger extended family and friends gatherings. The majority of the recipes are passed down from my mother-in-law, with a few from my family, and one from a good friend. Time passes, but the sights and smells of cooking brings back the shared life moments. It is from those moments that this cookbook seeks to carry forward some of our family's favorite recipes to the next generations.
