A World war II Historical Holocaust NovelIt was September 1939, the Germans advanced into Poland enslaving thousands of Jews, forcing them into ghetto prisons throughout Poland and Europe. This story is about a family caught up in the atrocities of the Nazi Operation called Reinhardt, the code name for the mass murder of nearly two million Jews throughout Poland during the Second World War. This heartfelt story is told through the eyes of a mother (Christa) . One day Christa opens up her heart to her daughter Julia about the past. Her story is of a boy, his name Aaron, living his life during the Nazi occupation. His parents Hanna and Peter fearing the outbreak of war and the occupation of Poland send little Aaron to live with his grandfather Hans, hoping he would have a safer and brighter future there. Sadly, fairy tales in faraway places seldom happen and it is not long before Aaron and his grandfather Hans are struggling for their lives. Chapter - OneFOR A BRIEF MOMENT, that seemed to last the whole of her journey, Julia found herself staring up from the passenger side of her window. Her mind floating unconsciously into the blackened clouds that hung above her head and that of her world, watching in a kind of silence stillness as the rain came down without thought or feeling to that moment and to everything that was happening around her. Watching the droplets as they splashed the outside of her window, tracing them with her finger from the inside as they gathered momentum colliding with each other until they finally hit the bottom and dispensed into a small watery pool that gathered at the bottom edge of the window sill. When the car finally arrived at its destination, Julia opened the door, awkwardly pulling herself out, until she finally managed to clamber out onto the pebbled dashed walk that lead all the way to the cemetery. Feeling little fingers slide between hers as she walked, they were of her granddaughter Monica, who she comforted as they made their way towards the grave side. Julia gripped Monica's hand tightly, her mind clearing a little as she began to focusing on the events that was taking place. Although the previous weeks were a bit of an adventure and emotional rollercoaster awash with deep feelings, the emotions that all came to an abrupt and sudden end were what had brought her here today. Once at the graves edge, Julia stood there motionless, quietly listening to the sermon that was taking place and all the time looking down into the depth of the grave at the decorative oak coffin that lay within. As the sermon was read out, Julia once again found her thoughts drifting back to the day that it all started, the day that lead her to be standing here. -This is where our story begins- The Princess and the Old Wolf One morning little The Princess was strolling through the woods when she came across a small stream. There drinking by the stream was an Old wolf, the old wolf on hearing the girl turned around, and then said, "What you are doing here in my woods?" The Princess then answered. "I have come to woods to collect apples for all my friends, my friends love the forest apples they are very tasty and red.
