Alice is a college student studying mathematics at Strauss University but has a few challenges along the way as she tries to make plans for her future. Through difficult classes with know-it-all male students, Alice works hard to succeed in school along with her cohort, Miranda, one of the other few females in the math program. After meeting Kat, a spunky fifth grader looking for a math tutor, Alice is inspired to create programs for young girls that show them the creative side of math. Based on the author's true story, this fictional memoir will give you a look into what it's like being a women in mathematics and the power of female support.
