Hundreds of tons of Pitchblende, the ore from which Uranium is extracted, is available in the German controlled Belgian Congo. Germany is developing an atomic bomb and we must take it before the Germans can use it to make atomic bombs. It is early in the war and hundreds of tons are available. We can't take the ore by force because it is hundreds of miles up the Congo River. 'Wild Bill Donovan' the leader of the OSS, which became the CIA, has a plan to obtain the ore through subterfuge and guile. All it will take is a pirate ship, a brave Captain and a hand -picked crew to perform the sting of the war. First, the Captain must guide his ship through the submarines, bombers and storms of the Arctic. Saboteurs, including the crew, threaten the ship constantly. Treacherous spies threaten the mission, the ship and the sailors at every turn. Even a surprise hurricane will threaten the ship before it can return home.
