Rise: Towers Ascending

Michael Albetter can see the future. He noticed he acquired this ability right after the attack on the World Trade Center. In the fall of 2006, while trying to fall asleep in his Brooklyn apartment, he has a a vision of a man holding a knife and threatening a homeless man lying on the ground. Suddenly, the attacker stops in his tracks, clutches his throat and dies before he can commit the crime. A shadowy figure wearing a wide brimmed hat and a trench coat leaves the scene as the homeless man looks on in stunned amazement. Detective Justin Champion should have an easy time solving the crime. He has two witnesses. One is a homeless man who can't say what the shadow vigilante really looks like, and the other, who witnessed the crime from his bedroom in Brooklyn in a dream.
