This news came at a time when I was only just beginning to truly start seeking to grow in my faith. I had claimed to be a Christian for my whole life, but I didn't work very hard to learn what that meant or get any better at being Christian. The news of my mom's diagnosis seemed like a challenge to me.What follows are the journal-style stories of how my faith guided me through the process. Tragedy comes to everyone. Some people want to blame God for them. Some get wrapped up in the happiness of others while they're walking in sadness. This is the story of how I sought to understand God better and of what God did in my life while my mother battled cancer.
