My story is full of pain, joy, hope, health issues and mental struggles. Struggles can't be avoided but the way that you look at struggles can be the factor that changes your entire life. My story is about turning pain into lessons in order to turn your life around. I am sharing my struggles so that others can learn from my mistakes and become a better version of themselves. Admitting the truth to yourself about yourself is the first step toward positive change. We all have flaws. That's what makes us human but becoming better means embracing those flaws and addressing the underlying causes of your unhappiness.I decided to share a part of my journey after a Diagnosis of Bipolar 1 Disorder in 2017 changed my life and entire mindset on mental illness. I realized the impact and struggles that mental illness takes not only on people with it through, but their families as well.
