It's Me!

My daughter was the inspiration behind this project. To see the world through the eyes of a child is humbling. I loved how she reacted when seeing little girls that she looked like her, it was eye opening. Representation is extremely important in a child's development. Being able to see yourself in people that look like you aids in building confidence and self awareness. I created this coloring book so that brown girls everywhere can see a piece of themselves in others like them. I hope that you will share this coloring book with every little girl in your life.
