Elspeth and Suehope that it will help to fill the expanding gap between a need for psychological support in a therapeutic setting and formal therapy and counselling. The course is shaped around the need to be trauma sensitive and suitable for safe, online video conferencing participation. Current research has identified a heightened anxiety in the general population since the pandemic of 2020 / 21 and extensive waiting lists for therapy and support.This course provides a psychologically safe 'holding space' and a chance to discover and enhance new skills of resilience, recognising that no two participants' journeys are alike.Elspeth Soutar is a Senior Practitioner in Children and Families Social Work and trained in Dyadic Developmental Psychological approaches. She qualified as a Mindfulness teacher with The Mindfulness Association. She is the founder of This Time Mindfully. Elspeth and Sue met during their MSc in Studies in Mindfulness with the University of Aberdeen.
