This memoir is a call for the church to show love, bind together in unity and extend grace to others. The content found on the pages of this memoir evolved as I watched with limited understanding as David faced what he has described as his personal most disappointing experience in the church. To help ease my disappointment, I decided to document David's Journey as he stood boldly for GOD as the church transitioned after the leader's death, and it was indeed an elevating experience. This memoir will bless your innermost being and encourage you to keep pushing, keep pressing, and keep praying as you seek God when facing opposition. The words found on each page of this memoir are authentic and contain raw emotions as I penned what I saw at the moment. It is truly His Ministry, My Story. This experience begins with confusion, and it comes from a place of hurt and disappointment, yet it ends with a story of clarity, strength, elevation, and redemption. God is an excellent teacher, and through this experience, I was taught: "What God sends you will arrive in clarity, not confusion." Throughout the process, I often walked away feeling angry, upset, and wronged by what I witnessed, my vision was blurry, my spiritual knowledge and faith were depleted, but ultimately, I learned that I needed divine deliverance and that divine deliverance was necessary for the church. I am not talking about the appearance of salvation but true deliverance. The kind of deliverance in Romans 6:14, "For sin shall no longer be your master because you are not under the law, but under grace." The kind of deliverance etched in Proverbs 4:20-22, "O Lord, if you heal me, I will be truly healed; if you save me, I will be truly saved. My praises are for you alone!"
