Headmaster

Headmaster is a murder mystery based on an actual murder at a New England preparatory school in the early 1930s. The Prep School Murder, as it was known in its day, ranks as one of the major unsolved murders of the twentieth century, and at the time shared headlines with the Lindbergh Kidnapping-Hauptman murder trial.A recurrent sub-theme of "Headmaster" demonstrates how the age-old hypocritical beliefs and actions, in the name of Christianity, can lead to disaster.The Author created "Headmaster" around the real transcripts of the court inquest, and the court testimony of the witnesses with the attendant drama. In fiction, the Author elected to solve the murder.
