A traveler lost in a storm in the mountains, manages to reach a house where a strange family lives. At night, he seems to see a ghost of a woman. So the maid Ellen decides to tell him the family story. It begins with the arrival of the gypsy orphan Heathcliff, brought by the owner of the house, Mr. Earnshaws. Immediately antagonized by his son Hindley, he endures everything because of his passion for Cathy, his daughter. When their father dies, Heathcliff loses all protection and becomes the family's stable boy. Cathy, despite being in love with Heathcliff, yearns for a better life and ends up getting involved with her wealthy neighbor, the elegant Edgar. This romance destroys her relationship with Heathcliff, who runs away from the house but returns ten years later as a wealthy landlord, bent on revenge on everyone who humiliated him.. This derivative work as graphic novel is a Morromatto Comics art experiment (colorized impressionist rotoscoping) based on Wuthering Heights, a 1939 American romantic period drama film directed by William Wyler and produced by Samuel Goldwyn, starring Laurence Olivier and Merle Oberon. It is based on the 1847 novel Wuthering Heights by Emily Bronte.
