Fencing

Istvan Lukovich, professor at the Hungarian College for Physical Education and Sport, coached the Hungarian national fending tema for several years. His book 'Fencing,' which is the combination and condensation of his theoretical observations and practical experiences, is indispensable for both the active fencer and the fencing coach. The book discusses the general theoretical questions relating to fencing along with the problems in the teaching of fencing and the methodology of training. The material contained pertains to the three weapons used in fencing (the foil, sabre and epee) , and focuses on the teaching of fencing and the activities of the coach.
