Expert Workshop on Life-Cycle Analysis of Energy Systems, Methods and Experience: Proceedings

Life-cycle analysis is a comprehensive approach used to evaluate the economic and environmental effects of energy production and use. Applying this analysis to specific energy projects will allow for internalization of environmental costs and encourage sustainable energy development. Although experts have been developing life-cycle analysis methodologies for some time, their application is not yet widespread in energy decision-making. This book presents the proceedings of a two-day workshop for experts and make recommendations for future work in this field.
