This book contains images documenting the creative path, from the Thirties to the present, of one of the most important living Italian artists. Born in Venice in 1919, Emilio Vedova, winner of the Leone d'Oro all Opera prize at the 1997 Venice Biennale, is unanimously considered a leading international figure in contemporary art. The critical essays at the beginning of the book analyze his work from different viewpoints; reproductions of the works follow, in color and in black and white, in chronological order and accompanied by texts written by the artist over the years.
