Taipéi: Una novela

An ode—or lament—to the way we live today, this novel follows Paul from New York City to Taipei, where he moves with his new wife, a fellow artist drug user. On their journey, the two experience all-night drives along the East Coast, ill-advised grocery runs in the Midwest, shoplifting excursions in the South, and book readings on the West Coast. The couple learns what it means to share themselves completely, and what results is a meditation on memory, love, and what it means to be alive, young, and on the periphery—in America or anywhere.
