This books is a study of the concept of human dignity in the writings of Pope John Paul II. The works of John Paul II studied in this book are his social doctrines such in such writings as Laborem Excercens, Cenesimus Annus and Socilicitudo Rei Socialis and Acting Person perhaps his most important philosophical work. The first part of the book presents the general notions of anthropology as the background to the study of the anthropology of Pope John Paul II.
