Bhartrhari: Philosopher and Grammarian

Bhartrhari live in the tenth century B.C. Being both a grammarian and philosopher, his influence on subsequent grammatical and philosophical thought in India has been enormous. No doubt his extant writings are difficult. The present edition is the outcome of an international conference on Bhartrhari organized under the joint auspices of the University of Poona and the University of Lausanne (Switzerland) . (Reprinted)
