Webhosting Support: The basics

You may have seen documents and books on Webhosting and Hosting Support pass your desk before, but I have done my best to ensure this one is a little different. This book contains data that has been pulled in from the public domain and put together in an organized & structured manner for a beginner resource to learn and understand the basic conceps with ease. Web hosts are companies that provide space on a traditional server or any IT infrastructure such as virtual machines, cloud, containers etc; they own or lease for use by their clients as well as providing Internet access, typically in a controlled environment. Web hosts can also provide data center space and connectivity to the Internet for servers they do not own to be located in their data center, called colocation or Housing.
