The First Domino: The Systematic Collapse Of My Belief In Allah

What is life without faith? My faith had always been in Allah and in Islam, the final religion for all mankind. The promises of Allah were not beliefs, they were facts of life. The Prophet Muhammad, my Prophet, was the last and final Messenger of Allah, a perfect human being sent as a guide for the whole world. He had brought us the Quran, the last revelation from Allah revealed to him by the Angel Jibraeel, a miraculous book of perfection meant to guide people from all walks of life until the end of days. My purpose in life became worshiping Allah and calling others towards him. So how was it that I ended up becoming a Muslim apostate? In this very raw personal account I would like to share my life experiences from being raised in a Muslim Pakistani family living in Canada, growing up to be a devoted Muslim, to eventually and with great difficulty journeying out of Islam. During my journey I had found faith to be a powerful virtue in life, and made a decision not to abandon faith, but rather to redirect my faith.
