This book is a reflection of my experience as an instructor in higher education. Prior to that, I worked in the field of business management. Certain events led me to apply to several universities where I eventually ended up as a full-time faculty member. Three years have now passed since I started this career. In this book, I reflect on my experience so far from the point of view of an outsider, since I am relatively new to the industry. The book talks about the nature of the relationship that exists, or should exist, between instructors and students, and about the education experience in universities, as well as the problem with how universities are managed today. This book is intended to be read by anyone: current/future students, current/future instructors, parents who plan to send their children to university or who already have children in university, or any person interested in universities.
