When Jack meets Sky in the shadows of a High Society function, they're both instantly out of their depth. Sky is an empathic police officer charged with maintaining order among alien refugees on Earth. Jack is mostly human, but the streets are his home and he doesn't want anything to do with law enforcement. Sky's psychic powers flare the moment he lays eyes on Jack.
