After ten years in Australia, George Fielden abandons friends, career and bride-to-be to return to the north of England, and to those he left behind. From his uncle's derelict farm in West Yorkshire and from the wilds of the moors, he seeks out traces of the life he never lived, stalking another past and another future in the form of his old girlfriend Kate.When contact comes however, it shakes all hope of easy reconciliation and offers up stark choices instead.
