Technology, Truth and Treachery

Probing beneath the surface of the Old and New Testaments, beyond the arcane language and traditions of hundreds and thousands of years, we uncover some strange and disturbing phenomena. We find a God who seems to let his wrath fall on good and evil alike, who gives mankind a strict code of the highest morality, then commands his chosen people to break it in the name of bloodthirsty conquest, and who claims to be beyond all human thought and yet whose power has now given up many secrets to our modern understanding of nature and science. Now is the time therefore to ask what story the Bible really tells, and whether mankind's quest for the stars and the secrets of the Ancients is also its journey to heaven.
