Clayton Hawks has returned to Powder Springs, Wyoming, to settle some rustling problems on the Lazy B Ranch. Sam Hawks, Clay's father and owner of the Lazy B, stayed behind in Boston, offering Clay the ranch in return for solving the problem. What Clay finds though, is a lot worse than he expected.
