Tales from the 609: A librarian's vignette

Intellectual Freedom is defined as the "right of EVERY individual to both seek and receive information from all points of view with out restriction!" That is a really powerful idea. And, the library, I believe is the only institution actively promoting this. I love libraries. I love working in them. I love changing things and leading culture changes. I hope you get that when you read this. Any perceived criticisms in this are mine and mine alone. Whatever the consequences of writing and publishing this....I know in my heart it is the right thing to do...and stand by my tiny voice. Go support your local library!
