In the Image of the Father

Criminal trafficking in human organs for transplant has led to stifling bureaucracy to control it and most organs deteriorate due to red tape. An effort to solve the problem by storing the organs via temporary transplantation into swine leads to bizarre consequences and a life or death struggle for control of a life saving technology involving big pharma, organized crime and a courageous group of volunteers seeking justice. None of them expected that the much larger question of just what it means to be human would arise and that a most surprising answer appear from the ghastly experiments that had been pursued.
