Sultry Port of Call

Rival consortiums are locked in a ferocious battle to control offshore petroleum deposits of a violent Caribbean nation. Simon Fallows, a prominent American entrepreneur with an extensive military background is contracted to evalate the effectivness of a guerrilla operation financed by one of these companies. A mature and wealthy individual, he only accepts the mission due to a private agenda. It will take him back to the seamy port of Palo Rojo where as a stranded seaman and beachcomber he had a stormy love affair with a beautiful dusky dancer and it has piqued his conscience ever since that he abandned her under rather dishonorable circumstances. Returning to Palo Rojo Fallows will meet not only figures from hs past but a lovely expatriate, Caroline Lamb, headmistress of the posh private school attended by the priveliged children of this impoverished area. He we will deal with Daniel Corso, the sinister tycoon who controls the prostitution rings and drug cartels and politics of the area, As a hobby, Corso enjoys ensnaring his victims in manipulative and sadistic games. In his trip into the jungle Fallows will have as guide a phycically impressive young thug who may or may not be the offspring of his dalliace with the alluring stripper.
