The creation of masks come from fear. Fear comes from feelings or meanings that we have placed on past experiences. Those meanings may or may not be true. Some meanings, we deem socially unacceptable. So unacceptable that we fear that we are no longer lovable or worthy. However, our reaction to the fear of being socially unaccepted, causes us to create masks. We use the masks to protect ourselves. We also use the masks to show up as socially acceptable. However, when we operate from behind masks, we deny the world the opportunity to experience us, authentically. This book is designed to start you on a journey to reclaim yourself and find freedom. Identifying and dismantling masks are the first step in this process.
