More from a wonderful new talent in children's illustrated books. Courtney the Hedgehog has already established himself as an intrepid traveller alongside his friend and companion, Humphrey Mole. In this new book, he continues to travel onwards down to the last known home of Wilfred the Water Rat Ferry Captain of legendary fame. Wilfred was a hero for Courtney after Silus, his brother, told exciting stories of his derring-do when Courtney was a youngster. Dangers abounded on the journey south. New friends were established who helped the travellers to finally overcome serious obstacles. Flooding became both a major threat, as well as wonderful saviour, allowing the friends to convince Wilfred to leave the area and go home to see his brother. The ferry needed to go with them. How was this going to work?
