When a builder buys a derelict Victorian house to renovate for himself, his partner thinks he's daft. But the building has a portal to 1883. The two go back and forth bringing back saleable memorabilia. However the partner meets and falls in love with a Victorian girl and decides to stay. The adventurers meet many exciting times before they part for the last time and the portal closes.
