The Expositor's Bible: The Gospel According to St. Luke

Another one of the Synoptic Gospels, Luke takes another view of the life of Jesus on Earth. Although he tells many of the same stories, some of them offer a different point of view than Matthew or Mark which gives us a clearer image of the ministry of the Lord and Saviour Jesus. Many different topics are discussed in this exposition such as the virgin birth, the priesthood of Christ, the temptation of Jesus, the last days and the passion narrative.
