Doctrine is the bedrock of the church's foundation. Yet, the attack against church doctrine is relentless. Some ministers refuse to broach doctrinal issues that are controversial. For years seminaries have challenged the authenticity of Scripture. Church boards usurp pastoral authority, hiring and firing depending upon whether the pulpit relents to their demands. Laity verbalize what they want to hear and challenge-at will-longstanding doctrines. The government continues to place demands which conflict with established tenets of the Christian faith. In short, we've tampered with Bible doctrine, watering it down like a diluted medicine: insufficient for spiritual health but favored because of the sweet savor of tolerance. This book is the first of a series that revisits the doctrines of Scripture.
