Adam Hurler's life is normal, happy, and full of baseball until the end of his eighth grade year when a family tragedy abruptly changes everything. Adam and his mother must leave their old life behind, move to a new town, and start a new life. Adam becomes the new target of Evergreen High School's biggest bully. The baseball field used to be Adam's safe haven, but even that has become a source of stress and frustration. How will Adam cope with all his challenges on and off the field? First, he has to regain his confidence-but how?
