Women in general have many great responsibilities in life, whether it's taking care of our children, our significant others, our spouses, our parents, juggling our careers, our pets, or just simply trying to maintain the care for ourselves. As a women I truly understand all of the pressures and responsibilities that come along with the title "Woman". We are sistas, we are girlfriends, we are co-workers, we are business women, we are intercessors, we are homemakers, we are mothers, and the list goes on and on...We are WOMEN!! So many times we have to humble ourselves and make sacrifices whether we want to or not. We are not super women, we are not god, we are not everything although we try to be but we are not, we are simply Women! We don't have healing power, we don't perform miracles, we don't perform magic. We love, we care, we hurt, we give, we give our last, we go without, we get neglected, and we remain silent about it. Why? Because we are Women, we were built to nurture and we were built to multiply, but what happens when we become empty? What happens when the encourager needs encouraging? What happens when our tears fall uncontrollably? What happens when we become weary and faint? Who comes to see about us...ahhhh Other Women! Other Women come and see about other Women. Women write books to encourage other Women. Women share their stories and testimonies of hope to other Women. Yep you got it! Women know how to nurture one another. It's called SistaHood. It's called Girlfriend I know how you feel. It's called I am my Sista's Keeper. It's called you just call my name and I will come running. This book is intended to encourage, push, build-up, support, love, and guide you into a happier and healthier you.
