Cheryl Gore Pollard lives in rural Heard County, Georgia, with her husband, Jimmy. In addition to writing, she enjoys traveling, painting, collecting, and gardening. Haybo is the third and final book containing the stories of three children, Eli, Lizzie, and Beth (from her middle name, Elizabeth) . The first, Fording, begins with the children in Heard County, and the second, Sunrise, tells of their early years together. Haybo, set during the Civil War, finalizes the trilogy.In addition to Fording, Sunrise, and Haybo, she has written Rilyn's Revelations, Wisdom of a Five-Year-Old, a collection of stories tied to enriching our relationships with each other and with God, and colloborated to write a life story of a local woman in Love Lifted Me.She enjoys spending time with her family: Ginger, daughter, and her husband, Chuck, and their children Hayden, twins Greer and Greyson, and Rilyn. Son, Sonny, and his wife Phyllis and their daughters, Carly, Ellie, and Isabelle.
