The Journey to Temet Nosce: Into the pits of hell is a story of how one woman's search for "heaven" led her straight into the pits of hell. This woman, "Felicia", although a fictional character, represents women who have been sexually abused, gone through sex and drug addictions, domestic violence, toxic interpersonal relationships, narcissistic abuse, violence, gang activity, child abuse, juvenile detention centers and jails. "Felicia" struggled all her life to walk the straight and narrow path. She tried everything in her power to change her circumstances, but it proved almost impossible. She just didn't know how to . Although she managed to change some of her circumstances by obtaining degrees, going into the military, going to church and starting projects, "Felicia" still wasn't finding that "heaven" she was searching for. "Felicia" even moved to different states and changed jobs frequently to see if she found "heaven" elsewhere, but it all proved to be thesame. Emptiness, despair, boredom, anger and hatred ruled. But one day, "Felicia's" life took a turn. She had been through a lot in her life, but what she was going to go through was nothing compared to all the hurts and pains from the past. "Felicia" was about to finally meet her match. She was a tough cookie, but she was a garden snake next to this Black Mamba. This Black Mamba "bit" her so hard, that she became paralyzed for a while and lost her sense of self. This Black Mamba took full control of her life, until, she "woke up" and decided to fight back. However, what she didn't realize, that by fighting the Black Mamba, she would also be fighting herself. She entered into the pits of hell, but once the fight was over, "Felicia" found her "heaven". "Felicia" is now ready to share the steps she took in her journey. She wants to help "free" people who also had "venom" injected in them by their parents, teachers, pastors, society, spouse, etc. There is no need to stay in the pits of hell, but you must go through it in order to get to "heaven". After all, "heaven" is only found in Temet Nosce.
