Jon quietly lifted the sword from its mounting; it was large and heavy, and felt awkward in his hands, and he quickly realized the foolishness of what he was contemplating doing. He didn't know how to fight, much less how to use a sword. He wouldn't stand a chance against even the most inept of adversaries.
