A Very Enjoyable and Fun Read!

Award-winning screenwriter Ken Kristensen takes over the writing duties of Indestructible with volume two of the comic-book series. Kristensen builds upon the premise of a slacker named Greg Pincus, who is pretending to have super powers so he (and his roommate/sidekick Barry) can reap the rewards of being a super-hero celebrity, and introduces new characters (like the Big Bad who calls himself Tarr), new complications (with the FBI tracking Greg’s movements), and new dilemmas (such as who should Greg take to the People’s Choice Awards, America’s 8th most watched awards show). Greg continues to have a difficult time fighting crime and winning the girl(s) while trying not to expose the truth that he’s just a normal guy. And Kristensen has fun placing Greg in the most awkward situations. Indestructible, Vol. 2 is a very enjoyable read – smart, funny, and ridiculous (in a good way!). I highly recommend it! Read more
