Wow Just Wow

Just recently Rhys Ford appeared in my submission in box for review for the Cole McGinnis Mysteries with Dirty Kiss, Dirty Secret, and Dirty Laundry. This young lady has had my attention since. Sinner's Gin is the first in her Sinner's Series, and again Rhys blows me away with an interesting plot, a fabulous mystery to keep my mind looking for answers and very hot men who fall in love with each other... Set in San Francisco, Sinner's Gin has a wonderful cast of characters. Kane Morgan is the beautifully handsome detective in the SFPD. On his off time he loves woodworking and rents space in the warehouse district where he comes during off times to relax and unwind. He has made the acquaintance of a little dog that has been dropping by and stealing odds and ends. Kane has had enough and storms over to find the owner. Miki St. John has not had an easy life. He has been at the very low, and his career with the Band, Sinner's Gin, was cut short just as they were at the top with a terrible car accident. Miki was the only survivor out of the four band members. He has been living in seclusion in a flat in the warehouse he owns, with a little dog who has befriended him. Losing the three band mates was horrible but losing the one called Damien, his brother of the heart, was the most devastating. Rhys Ford has given us the heart of these men, and made this into everything a reader could want. Their meeting was over a dog, but now the man who sexually abused Miki as a child is murdered and his body found in the GTO in his garage. Miki needs `his cop' to help solve the murder. Life as Kane and Miki know it forever changes as Kane becomes Miki's rock.Kane Morgan and his family surround Miki in a glove of love that this poor lost man cannot fathom. The challenges of the murder mystery are a great read, but the steamy scenes of these two lovers scald your senses. The author keeps us enthralled with scenery, mystery, and a great pace that does not bore you. You cannot set it down...
