Humic Acids from Raw Materials of the Czech Republic (Chemistry Research and Applications)

In the period of more than twenty years, the Research Institute of Inorganic Chemistry in the Czech Republic, together with various other universities, research institutes and commercial organisations, worked on projects concerned with humic substances. The main reason was that the Czech Republic is rich in deposits of various raw materials potentially suitable for the production of humic substances. Main goals of the investigations were the selection of raw materials, as well as the determination of their chemical and physical properties. This book presents the results of these extensive investigation.
