As part of the celebration of Brian Wildsmith's 80th Birthday, an exhibition of Wildsmith's work will be at The illustration Cupboard, St James', London during late March and April. The cover of the March edition of "Books for Keeps" will feature artwork by Brian Wildsmith. Radio interviews are planned. It includes "A Child's Garden of Verses" by Robert Louis Stevenson, and artwork by Brian Wildsmith. Wildsmith's stunning art is the backdrop for this wonderful selection of Robert Louis Stevenson's poetry for children. In print for over 100 years, Stevenson's poetry captures the joy and whimsy of childhood, sparks the imagination, and continues to entertain children worldwide.
