Jack's father gives him the chance when he turns over the family restaurant, The Golden Talon, to Jack while he vacations in Greece. If Jack can successfully manage the business over the summer, it will be his upon his father's return. But Jack foolishly lends money from the restaurant to a college professor who plans an expedition to Peru to search for Inca treasure in Machu Picchu.
