Equus: Curriculum Unit

Ten lessons have students explore the play related to works of philosophy, psychology, religion, and literature. Activities include distinguishing between naturalistic and expressionistic drama, analyzing the influence of myth and psychology on drama, writing a compare/contrast research paper, producing concept charts, creating magazine graphics for concepts, writing essays, journaling, analyzing poetry in relation to the drama, discussing in small and large groups, analyzing graphics and symbols, and paraphrasing.
