SAS Technical Report P-195, Transporting SAS Files Between Host Systems (SAS Technical Report)

Provides instructions and examples for transporting files between Version 5, Release 6.03 under UNIX, Release 6.06, and later releases of the SAS System on all operating systems supported in these releases. This report also provides instructions for moving SAS files from Release 6.03 on PC DOS or MS-DOS to Release 6.06, and later releases on any host. This report also explains what happens when you convert PROGRAM entries and other SAS/AF and SAS/FSP software catalog entries from Version 5 to Release 6.06 and later releases. This report is written for experienced SAS users who must transport files between host environments. In addition, users should have access to the appropriate companion guide for their operating system.
