Today it appears our world continues to be ruined by mass destruction committed by our own people. It's almost like people has lost respect for one another and we see this in our youths. People often point the finger at other races, they are uneducated to the fact, crime is occurring in all nationalities, shapes and sizes. What ever happened to yes mam and no sir? Is it just me who sees our world slowly going into a state of shock? Tell me how long will people continue to ignore the problems within their own house hold? These problems are now shifting into our society. Sagging pants continue to rise, Youths disrespecting parents, disrespecting seniors, robbing, killing, raping need I go on. The sad part about these crimes, not only is our youth committing these crimes we as adults are committing crimes. Today people are extremely shallow, they continue to commit crimes with no remorse. People are at a point far below the surface living in this world with little or no regard for life. People are searching for someone and something to follow. We follow social media, dance hustles, technology, friends and when we sum it all up, we are all followers. So today, teens want to fit in, they crave the same things as other teens such as the best tennis shoes in town and they want it fast. However, when they are not financially able to afford these materialistic things, they take whatever means necessary to obtain these things. Today I bring you Shallower, teens at a point far below the surface of the world with no regard for anyone but themselves. These teens find themselves wanting to fit in or simply wanting to become followers while committing crimes attempting to take a fast approach for living a good life. But in the end, their fast approach turns into no approach. Their so called good life, has become an empty life, a life with no one in it but themselves and those living for themselves.
